Which Multiplayer Game should you play with your friends? If you're reading this article, we're guessing you like playing PlayStation 4 with friends. Sitting on the couch or online can be one of the most rewarding ways to enjoy the game. But what are the top co-op titles on PS4?

We've compiled a list of the best PS4 games , including local and online multiplayer. Each entry describes how many players can be friends, whether they support online or local co-op, and how many controllers are required.

As usual, in this article we will discuss the best multiplayer games on the PS4 version of Hobigame.id. If you don't agree with what we recommend or have any other game suggestions, please let us know.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition

PS4's best loot-'em-up is also one of its best co-op games. The entire game Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is adapted for both local and online co-ops, as the heroes form an unstoppable team and raid the deadliest dungeons.

Showing off your cute gear is part of the fun, as is watching in awe as your newbie friends seem to rip off your difficulty level. And of course, Diablo being Diablo, there's a lot to do, and doing it is never unsatisfactory.

Destiny 2

Despite the issues with the overall game, Destiny 2 can still be a great co-op experience with the Guardians right by your side. Up to three players can team up at a time to explore intricate areas of the outside world or perform exciting Strikes.

The latter sees you blast your way through a bite-sized adventure that always ends with the big old boss. Meanwhile, if you can fight six friends together, you can tackle the Raid for a tougher challenge.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima's free co-op expansion, titled Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, exceeded all expectations. Offering a two-player, story-based mode and a four-player survival mode, Legends is immersive.

There are tons of challenges to complete and cosmetics to earn, all while strengthening the heroes of your choice so you can take on even more deadly foes.

Sometimes it's hard to believe that Legends is part of a free update. Great effort from developer Sucker Punch, and will be available on its own soon if you're not busy with the main game.

Don't Starve Together

Don't Starve Together takes the addictive gameplay of the original survival title and applies it to multiplayer. Playing locally or online, two players will gather resources, build equipment, and try to avoid danger as you explore the mysterious wilderness.

A second player can help and hinder your chances, so communication is key to making progress in this fun and challenging co-op game.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War

Zombie Army 4: Dead War really is the complete package when it comes to co-operative mayhem. The long and varied campaign gives four friends the chance to team up and take on Hitler's undead hordes across the French canals, the Zoo and Hell itself while varying difficulty levels and persistent rankings put your skills to the max.

Horde Mode then tasks the team with defending as long as possible, unlocking new environments and enemy types as you progress. With two comprehensive modes to explore and master, Zombie Army 4: Dead War will have you chewing on more and more of the undead.

Fortnite

Fortnite's Battle Royale mode may have taken over some of its co-op, but there's still a lot to like about Epic Games' long overdue construction battle game when you're playing with friends.

While gameplay largely resembles your standard four-player Horde mode, the building elements add an extra strategic layer to the Save the World mode of the third-person action game.

A Way Out

This new adventure game from the creators of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is purely co-op, and requires two players either online or locally. Starring two prisoners, Leo and Vincent, you and a friend will break out of prison and embark on a quest for revenge.

The constantly changing split screen gives the game a unique look, while the various scenarios where you need to work together make for a very entertaining experience.

Divinity: Original Sin II – Definitive Edition

You can play Divinity 2 alone, but playing with friends is a lot more fun. This massive RPG game is full of crazy characters, exciting locations, and challenging turn-based combat in which two (or more) players can fully engage.

Neat design features like the screen that splits smoothly when you split up or argue during a conversation make this immersive RPG an engaging game for everyone involved.

It Takes Two

It Takes Two is a co-op game only, to play this game requires two players with a controller. The good news is that this is one of the best co-op experiences you can find on PS4.

It Takes Two features a variety of locations and gameplay mechanics as you have to work as a team to get through the adventure. It is full of charm and has so many unforgettable moments, and you will do it all in a collaborative effort with a friend.

With the Friends Pass, a second person can download the game for free, so you don't have to log out twice. There are no dull moments in this imaginative and highly entertaining game.
